New Pokémon GO Update Released


Following the launch of Pokémon GO on mobile devices earlier last month, Niantic is back once again with some pretty exciting news and has revealed the latest update coming to its free-to-play, location-based augmented reality video game.

The new Pokémon GO update brings some new features as well as other improvements such as:

  • Avatars can now be re-customized from the Trainer profile screen
  • Adjusted battle move damage values for some Pokémon
  • Refined certain Gym animations
  • Improved memory issues
  • Removed footprints of nearby Pokémon
  • Modified battle damage calculation
  • Various bug fixes during wild Pokémon encounter
  • Updated Pokémon details screen
  • Updated achievement medal images
  • Fixed issues with displaying certain map features
  • Minor text fixes
The new Pokémon GO update is now rolling out as a free update on both Android as well as iOS devices.
