Apple Releases Security Updates for OS X El Capitan & Yosemite

Following the release of iOS 9.3.5 just one week ago, the company has officially launched some new security updates for its computer operating systems, OS X El Capitan and OS X Yosemite, to the public for download and update.

Similar to iOS 9.3.5, Apple has released Security Update 2016-001 for OS X El Capitan as well as Security Update 2016-005 for OS X Yosemite that fixes a series of critical kernel vulnerabilities that allowed hackers to gain remote access to Mac devices. Last but not least, the company has also launched Safari 9.1.3 update to fix vulnerabilities in the Safari browser.

Security Update 2016-001 for OS X El Capitan as well as Security Update 2016-005 for OS X Yosemite are now available to download through the links down below or via the Mac App Store.
