Google Pixel Phones Launch Event Officially Announced


Following multiple reports of Google working on two new handsets called the Pixel and Pixel XL, the company has officially announced that it will be holding a special event early next month, where Google is expected to reveal the successors to lats year's Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.

According to the rumors, Google will be introducing the Pixel featuring 5.2-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 Quad-core processor, 4GB of memory, 32GB of built-in storage, 12MP shooter and 8MP front-facing camera, and runs Android Nougat. While the Pixel XL will be featuring 5.5-inch Quad-HD display, Snapdragon 820 or 821 Quad-core processor, 4GB of memory, 64GB of built-in storage, 12MP shooter and 8MP front-facing camera, and runs Android Nougat.

Google will be holding its special event on October 4th as the teaser video ends with the "G" logo instead of the Nexus one suggesting that the company will be dropping the Nexus name in favor the long rumored Pixel or Google branding.
